Overview

Dr. Rashi Ray is the Senior Ophthalmic Consultant in the hospital and a renowned surgeon. She did her MBBS from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She did her post graduation in Ophthalmology from KMC, Manipal, Karnataka. She was trained and did her small incision and Phaco fellowship from LVPEI, Hyderabad. She was trained in advanced phaco techniques at Susrut Eye Hospital, Kolkata, West Bengal. She is an expert surgeon having done more than 20,000 cataract surgeries. She also performs glaucoma surgeries, oculoplasty surgeries and handles trauma cases. As a member of Child Welfare Commmitte, Malda she has done oustanding work on awareness and prevention of childhood blindness.
